#16 Retrospectives Losing Their Value

Symptom: The attendees of retrospectives are losing interest in the forum.

Probable Cause: There may be some underlying expectations of the retrospectives that are not being addressed.

Suggested Resolution: Try to do a retrospective on the retrospective at the end. It sounds a little weird, but the idea is to discover ideas on how to improve the way that retrospectives are done and if the current format needs to be changed.

In this case look at what is good about the current retrospectives, what are the challenges during the retrospectives and what improvements can be made for future retrospectives.

The retrospectives and their format can also be subject to continuous improvement as with other forums.
